National 19th June 2026: Over the years, the role of fathers in the parenting journey has significantly evolved. Today, fathers are actively involved in raising their children, sharing responsibilities with their partners, supporting their partners, engage in small moments of care and daily routines, such as bath and massage and want to be present at every stage of a child’s growth. At Johnson’s Baby, the brand believes parenting is a shared journey and recognizes the vital role of fathers in baby care. This Father’s Day, Johnson’s Baby celebrates the new-age fathers who are embracing their roles and moving beyond conventional stereotypes.

Recently, Johnson’s Baby collaborated with ZEE5 for Mom’s Talks, a first-of-its-kind parenting talk show hosted by actor and new-age mom Parineeti Chopra as part of its continued efforts to foster meaningful conversations around modern parenting. The platform brought together parents, caregivers, and experts to discuss the evolving realities of parenthood and the importance of shared parenting. During the various episodes, celebrity fathers like Vikrant Massey, Imran Khan, Rahul Dua, and Raghav Chadha shared their reflections on what fatherhood means to them and the importance of being part of their baby’s everyday care routines.

In an insightful episode featuring Vikrant Massey, he shared how becoming a parent has transformed his perspective on life, evolving from being a boy to a partner, and now to a father. Commenting on role of fathers, he candidly revealed, “Fatherhood is not merely a role; it is an identity that shapes daily experiences”. Vikrant also addresses societal expectations that often place disproportionate responsibility on mothers, advocating for a shift in mindset that encourages fathers to take a more active and engaged role.

Providing another unique perspective on fatherhood, Vikrant further added, “I think it’s important to also look at the other side. A lot of us grow up with the conditioning that a man is supposed to go out, earn money, run the household, provide security, and play the role of a protector. I’m not saying this to defend men, but I do want to reach out to the fathers and men who are listening. It’s normal to miss home, it’s normal to want to be with your family, and it’s normal to be the one who stays at home too. Unfortunately, many men don’t always feel they can express that, so I think it’s important to say that it’s okay to be vulnerable.”

In an episode with Imran Khan, a leading actor, he reflected on his parenting journey where he has always been hands-on, being present for his child’s everyday moments like bathing and feeding, which helped him form a strong and meaningful bond with his daughter. He said, “Fatherhood is not a duty assigned to us; it is a privilege we get to experience. The time I spent with my child is something I wanted for myself. It’s not about fulfilling a role but about experiencing joy, love, and connection.”

Challenging long-standing societal norms around the role of fathers in parenting, Imran further added, “Raising a child is not the responsibility of just one parent but a shared experience that both mother and father equally deserve to participate in.” He spoke about the subtle challenges he faced, reinforcing the need for more inclusive and supportive attitudes toward all caregivers, regardless of gender.

Rahul Dua, a leading content creator said, “Being a father isn’t about having all the answers; it’s about being present through every question, every challenge, and every joyful moment. I celebrate fathers who choose to be active partners in parenting, because the greatest gift we can give our children is our time, love, and presence.” He highlighted the growing role of fathers, emphasizing their active participation in early childcare as well as postpartum support for new mothers, reinforcing how modern parenting is a shared journey between both parents.”

Speaking on the importance of communication between parents, Raghav Chadha shared, I feel a lot of the fears and anxieties that come with this journey can be addressed through communication, because from pre-pregnancy to pregnancy, birth and postpartum, every phase brings a different kind of challenges which need to be addressed.” Their experiences highlight a common belief that parenting works best when both parents are involved. While every family’s journey is different, being present, supportive, and engaged can make a lasting difference in a child’s life. This Father’s Day, Johnson’s Baby celebrates fathers who continue to redefine parenting through care, partnership, and presence.
